DAY EIGHT: 50 Minute Full Body Sculpt: Band
MINIMAL EQUIPMENT SELECTION
•
51m
An intentionally paced Sculpt class using the band for increased activation. We begin with a controlled supine core sequence with the band around the thighs, using knee abduction to increase stability demand and increase deep core engagement.
From here, we find a four point position and work through targeted banded glute work, with some light upper body and core. To break up the two sides, we work through a banded reverse plank sequence, combining dips, knee drives and straight leg lifts. We finish with banded squats to fire up the glutes and balance out our practice.
This workout is designed to build your physical and mental strength and endurance as we work through layered sequences of flowing movement with minimal rest.
Please remember to listen to your body above all else during your practice. Modify exercises as needed to suit your body and pause the video to take breaks if and when you need to. Leave a layer out if it doesn't feel good for you and remove props if they become too much. Never push through any neck or lower back pain during your movement.
Enjoy!
