50 MINUTE LOWER BODY STRENGTH: MEDIUM WEIGHTS + BAND + ANKLE WEIGHTS
50m
This supportive lower body strength class is designed to help you build and maintain strength, stability, and confidence through the later stages of pregnancy.
We'll begin with our 360 Pilates breathing (Hug the baby), gentle cat cows, hip shifts, and deep squat mobility, then move into standing strength work with a resistance band and medium weights.
In our first sequence you can expect suitcase squats with pulses and banded abductions with the band around the outer calf, before transitioning into single leg RDL series using the band for added activation through the glutes, hamstrings, and upper back.
We'll then layer into Beast stance RDL, 90-90 reverse lunge, and curtsy lunge, working the lower body through controlled, purposeful movement.
From there, we'll come down to a side lying sequence using your resistance band and ankle weights, working through clams, pulses, and leg extensions to challenge the outer glutes, deep core, and pelvic stability before repeating on the second side.
We'll finish with gentle stretching and birth preparation pelvic openers, leaving you feeling strong, supported, and connected.
