30 MINUTE CORE STRENGTH: MEDIUM WEIGHT + LIGHT WEIGHT + ANKLE WEIGHTS
30 TO 40 MINUTES
•
32m
This 30 minute core strength class delivers a powerful burn. We begin class with medium weighted roll ups incorporating alternating marches, boat poses, and teasers to encourage full abdominal and hip flexor activation. From there, we move into lighter, single sided core work on the mat, including chest lifts, alternating marches, nutcrackers, and dumbbell sweeps. We finish strong with a spicy oblique hip dip to side plank sequence to ensure no core muscle goes untouched.
This workout is designed to build your physical and mental strength and endurance as we work through layered sequences of flowing movement with minimal rest.
Please remember to listen to your body above all else during your practice. Modify exercises as needed to suit your body and pause the video to take breaks if and when you need to. Leave a layer out if it doesn't feel good for you and remove props if they become too much. Never push through any neck or lower back pain during your movement.
Enjoy!
