DAY SIXTEEN: 30 Minute Lower Body Strength: Slider + Block + Medium Weights + AW
31 DAY BUSY GIRL CHALLENGE
•
30m
This lower body class is designed to build strength through the glute max, glute medius and hamstrings. We begin with an elevated scooter sequence to heavily load the glute max while simultaneously challenging knee and ankle stability, before transitioning down to the mat for a weighted side-lying series. From there, we move into weighted bridging with the slider to specifically target the hamstrings before repeating on the other side.
This workout is designed to build your physical and mental strength and endurance as we work through layered sequences of flowing movement with minimal rest.
Please remember to listen to your body above all else during your practice. Modify exercises as needed to suit your body and pause the video to take breaks if and when you need to. Leave a layer out if it doesn't feel good for you and remove props if they become too much. Never push through any neck or lower back pain during your movement.
Enjoy!
