In this upper body and core strength class, you'll use light hand weights and a Pilates ball to target the pelvic floor, inner thighs, and deep core stabilizers.
We begin with the ball placed between the knees in an extended kneeling upper body sequence featuring dumbbell raises, hip hinges, tricep kickbacks, narrow shoulder presses, and a wide arm opener.
From there, we transition into a four point knee hover using the ball for added core engagement, adding a straight arm tricep sweep to really light up the posterior chain.
To close, we elevate our hips onto the Pilates ball to challenge core stability. Expect single toe taps, single leg extensions, dead bugs, with an optional progression into double arm and double leg extensions if you're feeling strong. It's a focused, adaptable core series with the option to move with or without your weights, designed to meet you where you are within your practice.
