40 MINUTE UPPER & CORE STRENGTH: LIGHT WEIGHTS + ANKLE WEIGHTS
STRENGTH
•
39m
In this upper body and core strength class, we use just light hand weights and ankle weights to build deep oblique, shoulder, bicep, and upper back strength.
We begin in a side kneeling position, moving through a single arm narrow shoulder press, a controlled dumbbell swing, and an oblique knee to elbow crunch paired with an inner thigh lift, using breath to guide that subtle knee movement while strengthening the pelvic floor muscles.
From there, we transition into a dual kneeling upper body sequence, challenging the shoulders, biceps, chest, and upper back, layering in a thigh stretch for that extra challenge.
After repeating on the second side, we end in a supine core sequence, using one dumbbell to guide an oblique twist as the opposite arm reaches across, adding a leg extension to deepen the oblique work, finishing with a bicycle to balance both sides.
