This Full Body Sculpt class uses a block and a set of wrist weights to move through controlled, bodyweight based sequences designed to challenge balance, endurance and control.
We begin on the mat with a centred supine core series, balancing the block on the shins to ensure correct engagement and alignment as we work through a layered abdominal sequence. From there we move into a single leg bridging set with one foot elevated on the block, incorporating toe taps, leg sweeps and controlled variations to activate and warm the glute before coming up to stand.
Standing, we continue to challenge the same glute through a 90 90 lunge to hinge series that builds into a demanding balance sequence featuring floating scooters and overhead presses. After completing both sides, we finish the class with a push up series on the block to target the chest, triceps and deep core while maintaining strong upper body control.
This workout is designed to build your physical and mental strength and endurance as we work through layered sequences of flowing movement with minimal rest.
Please remember to listen to your body above all else during your practice. Modify exercises as needed to suit your body and pause the video to take breaks if and when you need to. Leave a layer out if it doesn't feel good for you and remove props if they become too much. Never push through any neck or lower back pain during your movement.
